Great artwork in Batman: Beyond the White Knight #8. This comic not only shows Bruce opening up more to those who care about him, but it also shows that Batman isn’t just a person, but an idea and a responsibility to live up to, as evidenced by Terry’s refusal to change Bruce’s moral code. It is interesting though that despite this being set in the future, Bruce and Barbara are really the only characters who appear to have aged significantly. It really shows the bat-family coming together, and it depicts Bruce as a compassionate father figure. Utilizing the donation, the city has evolved into Neo-Gotham. After Batman’s secret identity was revealed to the public, Bruce Wayne gave away his fortune to the citizens of Gotham and surrendered to authorities. The thrilling conclusion to this series! Batman: Beyond the White Knight #8 is a fun ride and wraps up the story nicely, re-imagining the characters in a fresh new way and offers potential for future spinoff comics.
